These terms govern your use of Buddies Bet Tracker ("the app"), published by Lightt Media. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
1. What the app is
Buddies Bet Tracker is a scorekeeping and tally tool for golf games. It records scores and calculates a running tally of who is up or down within a group, as a convenience for friends keeping track among themselves.
2. What the app is not
The app does not process payments, hold funds, or facilitate gambling. It never moves money and is not a party to any wager or settlement. Any amounts shown are an informational tally only. Whether and how players settle up is entirely between them, using their own payment methods, outside the app.
3. You are responsible for your own settlements
Any decision to exchange money based on a round is made solely by the players involved. We are not responsible for collecting, guaranteeing, refunding, or mediating any amount, nor for any disagreement between players about scores or settlements.
4. Eligibility
The app is intended for adults. Because it uses betting terminology and is designed for friendly wagers, you must be at least 17 years old and of legal age in your jurisdiction to make such wagers. You are responsible for ensuring that any wagering you conduct among your friends is lawful where you are.
5. Your account and content
You're responsible for the accuracy of scores you enter and the content you add — your display name, avatar, and group names. Don't upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or offensive. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms. You can report a player or content from a group's settings screen, or by emailing support@buddiesbettracker.com.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app: no attempting to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to it or to other users' data.
7. No warranty
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that scores, tallies, or the app itself will always be accurate, available, or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lightt Media is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any amounts wagered or settled between players, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it, which for a free app is zero.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; we'll revise the date above and, for material changes, note them in the app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
